Fascinating fact:  One of the earliest versions of French Toast was from the Roman Empire.

What is the total flight time in hours and minutes including 30 minutes for take-off and landing? Fascinating fact:  Approximately 800 planes leave JFK airport on a daily basis, which brings it to around 160,000 passengers per day departing.

#62    If you have $30 and you want to get a dozen of the same oysters, what are the two most expensive oysters you could get?  Fascinating Fact  -  When Henry Hudson arrived in what is now New York City in 1609, there were approximately   350 square miles of oyster reefs  in the harbor and its surrounding waters!!

If drawer #1 has 1/4 of the rolls of wrapping paper and drawer #2 has 1/3 of the rolls, how many rolls are in drawer #3? Fascinating fact:  This is a real dresser and it is actually full of wrapping paper. It is an antique that has been in my family for 3 generations.

#57   Sofia has many nail polishes. All the nail polishes with the black caps cost $1.25. All the nail polishes with the white caps coat $0.75. All the nail polishes with the green, purple, pink, blue or red caps cost $1.75. All the nail polishes with the grey and sliver caps cost $1.50. Each stress ball takes up 2 bottles of glue, 1 box of glitter, and 1 balloon. How many stress balls will Colette be able to make?  B.)   How much supplies will Colette have left over after making her stress balls?  Fascinating fact :   Stress balls originated in Ancient China around 1368 AD as hard Baoding Balls, that are still used today, and these traditional balls are intended to be rotated in one’s palm, and are said to stimulate a person’s acupressure points on the hand.

If Alex made 15 cookies out of the cookie dough he bought from the supermarket, how much would be the cost of one cookie? 2. Fascinating Fact:     Did you know that the largest slab of fudge weighed 2.61 metric tons!!

Fascinating fact :  The first real pizza was made in Naples Port Alba, by a baker named Raffaele Esposito.  There is a story that in the late 1800s, Queen Margherita and King Umberto ordered Raffaele to come make them pizza.

There was a total of 10 people, (4 kids and 6 adults).  Everyone had plain pizza.  Each child had 1/4 of a pie, each adult had 1/2 of a pie.  Each pie had 8 slices. How many slices each child and each adult eat?   All the children also had a bottle of stilled water each and each adult had a bottle of sparkling water each.   At the end of the meal how much was their meal without each taxes and tip? Fascinating fact :     In 1930s, the Department of Parks assumed jurisdiction over the city's bathhouses and harnessed Works Progress Administration (WPA) labor to develop a series of outdoor pools for the city.   WPA opened eleven pools within weeks of each other in the hot summer of 1936, bringing relief to thousands upon thousands of New Yorkers. Mayor Firorello La Guardia and Parks Commissioner Robert Moses attended packed dedication ceremonies that summer.

Fascinating Fact :  Many years ago, docks were easy to obtain and were used for making a living such as fishing, crabbing, commercial boat use, and marinas.  

#32    My friends and I went out to lunch at Bareburger. I got The Standard Burger which cost $10.95. My one friend got The Supreme Burger which cost $11.95. My other friend got The Farmstead Burger which cost $9.95, before tax.  How much was our meal including a 20% tip? Fascinating Fact:  American's consume on average 50 billion hamburgers per year!!

Tickets for two adults was 35$  for both tickets. After that, they went to Meiji shine on a taxi. Tickets for Meji shrine was 42$  for both tickets, and the taxi was an additional 12$ . If the two had 100$  with them that day, how much money do they have left? Fascinating Fact:  Izumo-Taisha is the oldest shrine to cease in Japan. Meiji shrine belonged to Emperor Meiji and his wife in the 1920's.
